Tai Po Waterfront Park

We visited the Tai Po Waterfront Park last Saturday. It was a sunny day but a little too hot as we visited around noon.

I have heard about this park for a while and understand that it's a place where many people fly kites and that it's by the sea. In my mind. it's just a big park. When we arrived, I was delighted to find many great facilities including a promenade, an insect house, a garden, a motor boat pool and a nature's trail.

JT loved watching the insects in the Insect House, the water beetles in the fish tank and the Japanese carps in the lily pond. We meant to stay longer but it was just too hot. We will have to visit it again for the Western Garden, the Spiral Lookout Tower and the area where people fly kites.
