The Space Museum in Tsim Sha Tsui

Typhoon signal 8 was lowered to signal 1 earlier this morning. It was raining on and off. We needed to go to Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) to visit a Putonghua learning center for JT. After the visit, we decided not to join this center mainly due to the traveling time needed to go to this center and partially due to the aggressive sales technique used by the center.

Visiting TST was great as there are a few museums to visit. We went to the Space Museum by the sea. Despite the rain, there were many people in the museum. We lined up to go into the exhibition hall. JT was very interested in the astronauts.

He watched a short movie about two astronauts repairing a satellite three times. Twice in Cantonese and once in English.

The week after that he pretended to be an astronaut at home wearing an oxygen tank in his back, just like the one he saw in the Space Museum. And he drew a rocket one morning after his breakfast. He seemed to like his visit to the museum a lot.
