Making Chocolate Cake in A Rice Cooker

I happen to have read a cookbook on making snacks for kids. One of the recipes is to make cake in a rice cooker. It sounds like fun so I rolled up my sleeves and begin. It turned out very well and tasted as good as those baked in an oven!

Recipe. 1 Egg, 30g sugar, 150ml milk, 200g pancake mix, 2 tablespoon of oil, unsalted butter 25g, chocolate 20g.
Method:
1) Melt butter in a small bowl over hot water.
2) Cut up chocolate and melt in a small bowl over hot water.
3) Beat egg, mix with sugar and milk. Then add pancake mix with a spatula. When the batter is smooth, add oil and butter.
4)Separate 1/3 of this batter and mix with melted chocolate.
5) Take turn to pour the original batter and chocolate batter into the rice cooker pot. Stir slightly with a chopstick to create the marble effect.
6) Turn on rice cooker using the rice cooking program.
7)When done, insert a toothpick to the cake. If it comes out clean, it is done. If sticky with batter, cook a little longer.
