Tai Mei Tuk is a popular place for cycling and barbeque in the Tai Po District, New Terrritories. When I was young, I used to go outdoor a lot and Tai Mei Tuk/Plover Cover Reservoir Dam is one of places that I have fond memories of.
The other day, Mom and OT brother's family (RT, CL, NT) went with us to visit Tai Mei Tuk. It was a fine day and a little hot. I have not visited this place for more than 2 decades and this time we visited the area near the bus terminal and the seaside.
We walked around and had some ice-cream and snacks. Then we visited the fish farm. JT was excited to hold the fishing net and tried to catch some fish in the pond.
Then, JT and NT took a ride in the first row of a family bike while OT and RT diligently drived the bike for their kids in the second row. You can imagine how much fun it was for the kids. OT and RT also got a good chance to do some exercise.
By dusk, we returned the bike to the rental shop and enjoyed a nice meal in a Thai restaurant.
